Bord Gais has announced increases in its electricity costs for households.
It's raising its prices by 2.2 per cent from the first of March.
The company says the increase is in line with other providers, but that it waited until after the winter rush to introduce it.
It's blaming outside factors, like the weakened euro and changes in wholesale energy costs.
