A study has found people who are bored are more likely to snack on food.

Researchers at the University of Limerick say the more restless a person was, the more fat, carbohydrates and protein they consumed.

But given a choice of nibbles, it seems those who were fed up were just as likely to reach for a cherry tomato as they were an unhealthy sweet.
