Former London Mayor Boris Johnson has come under fire for comparing the EU to Adolf Hitler.
The Brexit campaigner says both the Nazis and the EU both attempted to form a European superstate.
Interviewed in The Sunday Telegraph, he said: "Napoleon, Hitler, various people tried this out, and it ends tragically. The EU is an attempt to do this by different methods."
The British Labour Party, which opposes a Brexit, says the Conservative MP is playing a 'nasty game'.
