The Taoiseach's hopes of getting a deal for illegal Irish emigrants in the USA are limited, according to the mayor of Boston.
Marty Walsh says a deal for people of one country would not be acceptable to most people.
Walsh, whose parents are from Galway, was speaking after a meeting this morning with Enda Kenny at City Hall in Boston.
The Taoiseach is on a week-long US trip, culminating in a visit to the White House for the traditional Shamrock Bowl ceremony.
Enda Kenny said over the weekend that getting a special deal for undocumented Irish people in the US was "an absolute priority".
