Boutros Boutros Ghali has died.
The former Secretary General of the United Nations was 93.
His death has been announced by the UN Security Council this afternoon.
He served as the 6th Secretary General of the United Nations from 1992 to 1966 and oversaw things during a number of world crises - including the Rwandan Genocide and the break up of Yugoslavia.
After the announcement 15 members of the UN Security Council held a minute's silence in his honour.
