David Bowie stole the show at the Brit Awards last night - and he wasn't even there.

The 67 year old has become the oldest star to ever win a Brit - taking the gong in the best British male category.

Atctic Monkeys and One Direction bagged two awards each and Ellie Goulding was named best British Female.

Bowie couldn't make the event which was screened on ITV last night but sent supermodel Kate Moss to pick up his prize - with this message.
