A three year old boy who fell from a building in Offaly earlier today has been transferred to Temple Street Children's Hospital.

The child was originally brought to Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin after the incident in Edenderry this morning.

His condition is still being described as serious.

Gardai say investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding his fall.
