A new information drive has been launched to raise awareness of breast cancer among female secondary school students.

Ireland has higher mortality rates for the disease than northern European countries.

And Breast Cancer Ireland believes offering classroom information sessions to Transition Year Students could help reduce breast cancer deaths in later years.
