Britain's apparently prepared to pay up to 40 billion euro as part of a deal to leave the European Union.

The Sunday Telegraph claims the figure's been sourced from people close to the UK's negotiating strategy.

It's significantly less than the 60 billion euro which has been previously mentioned by the EU.
