Britain has voted to leave the European Union.

Results from the so called Brexit referendum are still coming in - but the leave side has a lead which it seems will not be bridged.

It seems the leave side has won by almost 52 per cent to 48.

England and Wales both voted to leave with Scotland and Northern Ireland opting in favour of the remain side
