The British government says it's considering using laws to enforce changes to welfare in Northern Ireland, if the parties at Stormont can't come to an agreement.
Unionists support some cuts but Sinn Fein and the SDLP oppose the reforms - including replacing housing benefit and support for the disabled.
Negotiations about the changes are due to begin at Stormont next week.
