British intelligence reportedly has access to Irish internet cables

The Government is being asked to demand answers from London, on why our high speed internet connections to the UK are being monitored.

Documents released by whistleblower Edward Snowden reveal that our main underwater links have been targeted by British intelligence.

Transparency International says it raises questions about why this is happening and what's being done with the data.
