There's been a broad welcome for the findings of the latest audits from the Catholic church's child protection watchdog.

The National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church investigated the dioceses of Dublin, Cloyne, Killaloe and Meath, and five religious congregations.

The dioceses of Dublin and Cloyne have come in for the most critisism in the past.
