Police in the North say they want to question Derek Brockwell in connection with two robberies in Belfast yesterday.

Brockwell escaped from custody in Dublin after stabbing two Prison Officers while on a hospital visit. He made his way to Belfast where he came to the attention of Police officers investigating two robberies.

A taser was deployed during his arrest.

He is still being treated for what the PSNI say is a self inflicted stab wound to the stomach.

The PSNI is still waiting to speak to him.
