The film Brooklyn has received six nominations in this year's BAFTA awards.

The films Bridge of Spies and Carol each received nine nominations, including best film.

Eddie Redmayne has been nominated for the second time in a row for a Bafta best actor award, for his role in The Danish Girl.

Brooklyn got six nominations, including outstanding British film and Saoirse Ronan got the nod for best leading actress.

Michael Fassbender is up for best actor for playing Steve Jobs.

And the Lobster - set in Co Kerry and starring Colin Farrell - has also been nominated in the outstanding British Film category.
