Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay's Chris Martin have been filling-in on stage for an out of action Bono.

They joined U2 for a surprise World AIDS Day concert in New York's Times Square last night.

The rock group's usual lead singer is expected to make a full recovery after he was badly hurt while out cycling.
