Bryan Adams has cancelled a gig in Mississippi on Thursday saying he doesn't agree with a new law allowing religious groups and some businesses to refuse to serve gay couples.

He says he can't perform in a state where people are being denied their civil rights due to their sexual orientation.

Bruce Springsteen called off a show in North Carolina yesterday because of a new law in the state that critics say discriminates against the LGBT community.
