Burnt toast has been named the biggest breakfast fail.
The survey by the New York Bakery Co., also found soggy cereal and rock-hard butter which breaks the toast were also voted as major breakfast blunders.
When it comes to eggs, the biggest mistakes were overcooked-dippy eggs or a shell ending up in your scrambled eggs.
79% of those surveyed would love their weekday breakfasts to be more like their weekend ones, with eight in ten preferring weekend brunches because they have more time.
