Business groups in Cork and Shannon could have a say in the future of the Aer Lingus Heathrow slots.
Newspaper reports today claim the condition's included in the latest proposals from IAG aimed at getting their takeover bid across the line.
The group pledged yesterday not to sell the slots without government approval.
IAG is looking to buy the government's stake in Aer Lingus, in a deal worth 1.4 billion euro.
It's being discussed by the Dail's Transport Committee today.
