Gardaí and members of the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) are today searching a number of properties in Limerick, Clare and Tipperary.

It comes as part of an investigation into the operations of criminal gangs in the area.

The searches are focused on homes & businesses in the three counties.

Officers are examining the purchase of land, vehicles and other assets by organised criminal groups. 

Documentation, mobile phones, devices and computer equipment have been seized.

Gardaí say no arrests are planned during this phase of the investigation.
