The Cabinet will be asked to sign-off on an official response to the Guerin Report this morning.

Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald wants to speed-up plans for a Commission of Investigation into the Guerin Report - and push ahead with a review of her own Department.

It comes as the Department’s Secretary General Brian Purcell is called to take questions from TDs about the failure to investigate allegations.
