Cadbury's workers will be balloted on recent proposals put forward by the WRC aimed at ending a row over the outsourcing of jobs.
At a meeting of Unite and SIPTU members this afternoon shop stewards at the Coolock plant recommended the acceptance of the proposals and balloting is expected to begin next Sunday {20th} and will continue until the 22nd of March.
It follows 'indefinite' strike action earlier this month over the outsourcing of 17 jobs at the company - which is run by Mondelez.
However workers returned to work after two days following the proposals put forward at the WRC.
