Call for investigations into 'Home' where 800 babies' bodies found

There's a call for the state and Gardai to launch separate investigations into a mother and baby home in Galway beside which hundreds of infants were buried.

Its understood the remains of almost 800 babies and toddlers were buried inside a tank next to the institution in Tuam between 1925 and 1961.

Junior Minister Ciaran Cannon believes the Departments of Justice, Children and Education should be involved in examining how and why.
