A multi-faith prayer service has been held in Dallas Texas following last night's mass shooting of five police officers.
Police came under sniper fire during a peaceful protest over the fatal shootings of two black men by police in Minnesota and Louisiana.
The Dallas Police Chief said suspect Micah Johnson - who was killed during a stand-off - told officers he wanted to kill white people.
It has emerged that Johnson was an Army reservist who had served in Afghanistan.
