Calorie Caps Could Be On Way For UK Restaurants

A UK health agency is proposing calorie caps for restaurant meals and ready-made sandwiches.

Public Health England suggests they could be limited to 657 calories.

That would spell trouble for deli counter favourites like the hot chicken roll and the breakfast baguette.

They're both estimated to weigh in at a whopping 1000 calories -- close to half a grown man's recommended daily allowance.
