Opponents of water charges are urging people not to pay their bills - even if they've already registered with Irish Water.
The 'We won't Pay' campaign says any new government would eliminate the charges, before customers could face any punishment.
It says Irish Water won't chase anyone who doesn't pay bills until at least 12 months after they first arrive - and that there'll be a general election in between.
So it says if the public elects a government which opposes water charges and which would disband Irish Water, those bills would then lapse without any punishment for households.
But a Fine Gael TD says the campaign is irresponsible - and people can't 'pick and choose' the laws they recognise.
