The gunman who shot dead a soldier in Canada was not one of 90 "high risk" people being monitored by the police.
Michael Zehaf-Bibeau killed Corporal Nathan Cirillo at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, before being shot dead himself at the Canadian parliament.
Police say he was a recent convert to Islam and had wanted to travel to Syria.
