Canadian wild fire could burn for months

Officials in Canada say a wildfire that's raging across the province of Alberta could burn for months if there is not enough rain to help calm it down.

The fire covers an area roughly the size of County Wexford.

The blaze has forced the evacuation of 88-thousand people from the city of Fort McMurray - and is expected to become Canada's costliest natural disaster.

Tina Lewdrew is now safe in a town three hours from her home. She says losing belongings doesn't matter:

Many had to drive through flames to escape but there have been no deaths or serious injuries reported.
