Captain Dara Fitzpatrick is the only crew member from Rescue 116 to be recovered from the sea yesterday. 

45 year old Captain Fitzpatrick had over 20 years flying experience and was chief pilot in Waterford since 2002.

She is survived by her three year old son, her three sisters, her brother, and her parents.

Captain Fitzpatrick spoke passionately about her job back in 2008
