Ten artists have been announced as nominees for the Choice Music Prize here on Today FM.
Gavin James, Roisin Murphy and Jape are among those on the shortlist.
The album of the year will be selected by judges at a live event at Vicar St. in Dublin in March.
The winning act will receive €10,000, a prize fund which has been provided by the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA).
