Children's rights activist Christina Noble has been held at knife point in her own home.
Recognised across the globe for her work with disadvantaged children, Christina's house in Ireland was robbed earlier this week.
She had been sleeping downstairs at the time, and gardaí told her they believe a man used screwdrivers to break into the locked house.
She explained that the man repeatedly threatened to kill her during the 12-minute long ordeal, which she said ended when the man "picked the keys, my phone and went out and took my car".
Christina - who says her house feels 'soiled' after the incident - explained that she was able to use her panic alarm when the raider turned away:
