Alcohol and cigarettes have been seized by Revenue at Dublin Port and in the city.
5,500 cigarettes and a quantity of alcohol were found following a search of a Romanian registered bus that had disembarked a ferry from Holyhead
In a separate operation, a further 3,700 cigarettes and over two kilos of tobacco were seized in O'Connell Street.
The combined value of the tobacco and alcohol products is more than €6,000.
No-one has yet been arrested, but Revenue say investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.
