Cigarettes and alcohol thought to be worth €19,000 have been seized in Dublin.
Some of the cigarettes were found when officers at Dublin Airport stopped and searched passengers who'd landed from Dubai and Moldova over the weekend.
More cigarettes, along with some tobacco and alcohol were seized this morning when a van from France was searched getting off a ferry.
Over 29,000 smuggled cigarettes, 4 kilos of tobacco and 155 litres of alcohol, were recovered in the separate hauls representing a potential loss to the exchequer of more than €15,000.
