The Citizen's Assembly holding its 8th session, this time to discuss how Ireland can tackle climate change.

It's hearing from a panel of experts, who are discussing what more the government needs to do to reduce carbon emissions.

Ireland is due to miss its target to reduce carbon emissions by 20 per cent by 2020.

The Assembly will hear from national and international experts over the course of two weekends on the devastating impacts of climate change.

It'll also consider the 1-thousand 200 submissions it received before making recommendations to the Government on November 5th.
