TD Clare Daly has dismissed the warrant for her arrest as a 'distraction'.

It was issued after she failed to appear in court over a speeding ticket.

The Dublin Deputy had arrived at Naas Court House, but left again after learning her case was 188th out of 188 to be heard.

Ms Daly's solicitor told the judge his client didn't mean any disrespect, but an adjournment was refused.
