Climate change could kill 250,000 people a year by 2030

Climate change could cause the deaths of 250 thousand people a year in the next 15 years - unless the developed world acts now.

Trócaire has published a report on how the world's poorest countries are being affected by a changing climate.

People in Ireland emit as much carbon as 400 million people in developing countries.

Professor John Sweeney of Maynooth University says Ireland is failing in its obligations to countries it normally cares about.

Juliette Gash spoke to him at the launch of the report, where he told me how the Government is failing;
