Co Carlow community tries to come to terms with the deaths of Eoghan and Rurai Chada

The community in Bagnealstown in Co Carlow is trying to come to terms this morning with the deaths of Eoghan and Rurai Chada.

Bagnelstown Parish Priest, Father Declan Foley, says the two boys were well known in the community through their involvement in sport and at school.

Their bodies were found after the first ever Child Rescue Ireland alert was issued for the boys father Sanjeev Chada.

Fr Foley says the community is "absolutely ruptured by this very sad news"  he's described yesterday as a "very very dark day"

He says support is being given to those grieving for the boys this morning:
