The Coastguard has been called to more than 25 rescues this week alone.
It's issued a warning to people using unsuitable inflatables on the water that can be blown out to sea, and says there's been an increase in the use of cheap dinghies with small outboard engines.
The Coastguard says any of the incidents - which included people being isolated by the tide - could have resulted in disaster or death.
Teams will continue to patrol beaches over the weekend.
