A man has been arrested after Ralph the sniffer dog discovered cocaine worth over €1.2 million in Rosslare Harbour.

During a routine operation an Irish registered truck disembarking the ferry was searched and 17 kilos of cocaine were found concealed in a side panel of the truck.

Gardai arrested the driver, an Irish man in his 50s, and he was brought to Wexford Garda Station.

Investigations are on-going.
