Coillte is planning to raise 60 million euro through the sale of its phone masts.
The State-owned company has a vast network of masts used by mobile phone operators, braodband companies and broadcasters, which are located within its forrests.
The Irish Times reports the forrestry company has put the masts up for sale following talks with the government.
It's in order to raise fresh investment funds for wind farms and its Smart Ply wood products business.
