Conor McGregor has been issued with a legal warning from the consumer watchdog.

The former MMA fighter was issued with a compliance notice by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), for not disclosing the commercial nature of content posted on his Instagram account.

Beauty influencer Suzanne Jackson, of SoSueMe, was also given a similar legal warning over posts on Instagram.

The CCPC also issued €300 fines to Circle K outlets on Nassau St in Dublin city, and one in Tallaght, for not displaying product prices.

A number of pubs in Dublin city centre - The Auld Dubliner, Fitzsimons Temple Bar and Dakota Bar - were issued with  compliance notices for failing to display price lists.

The Flannels Group on St Patrick’s St in Cork city, was issued with a fixed payment notice of €300 for failing to display product prices.

Leavy’s Centra in Tullamore Co. Offaly, was issued with two fixed payment notices of €300 for failing to display product prices.

Eurogiant in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal was given three fixed payment notices of €300 for failing to display unit pricing.

Temptation Jewellers in Claremorris in Co. Mayo, was given compliance notice for failing to display a notice about hallmarking

The Dublin Mint Office was issued with three compliance notices relating to unfair contract terms, misleading information on dublinmintoffice.ie, and not providing essential consumer information on dublinmintoffice.ie
