The south-west is bracing itself for more floods this evening as Met Éireann issues three weather alerts.
An orange flood warning is in place for the entire country, with almost two inches of rain forecast within 24 hours in some areas.
Parts of Cork City are expected to be underwater again within the next hour, with high tide due at about half-past five.
Elsewhere, rain, snow and ice alerts are also in place in mary parts of the country.
Met Éireann's Gerard Fleming says he can't rule out the prospect of further heavy storms in the coming days.
