There have been 507 new cases of coronavirus in Ireland.

Today's new cases include 216 in Dublin, 40 in Kildare, 29 in Galway, 24 in Offaly, 18 in Tipperary, and the remaining 180 cases spread across 20 other counties.

Figures released by the HSE this morning show there were 336 COVID-19 patients in Irish hospitals, including 87 in ICU.

The current 14-day incidence rate of the virus is just over 150 per 100,000 population.

Latest vaccination figures show over 463,000 had received at least a first dose of a vaccine as of Tuesday.
