A government taskforce is to be set up to tackle social issues in Dublin's North Inner City.

Councillors from the area met the Taoiseach this evening to discuss the terms of reference of the taskforce.

A brainstorming session will be held next Wednesday with community representatives to determine short and long term strategies for the area.
