The 2013 Bailey's Irish Champion Cow will be crowned later today marking the 30th anniversary of the bovine beauty contest.
One of the competing cows getting a blow dry before the judging begins:
22 contestants are competing for the prestigious title of Ireland's best cow at the annual Virginia Show in Co Cavan.
The final touches are being made to the animals, which are being pampered and getting their coats blow dried, as they listen to relaxing music.
