Prosecutors in Panama have launched a criminal investigation into allegations of tax evasion and money laundering contained in the so-called Panama Papers.

The revelations include claims prominent politicians, celebrities and sports stars exploited secretive offshore tax regimes.

Meanwhile the Irish times reports that an Irish developer used the Panama firm to shield assets from Nama. 

Fraud investigator Polly Sprenger says the massive data leak is a goldmine.
