Croke Park will host criminal trials in the new year.
The stadium has been let to the Courts Service to provide court rooms starting from mid-January, at a cost of 437,000 euro.
It's to help facilitate social distancing as trials with multiple defendants can't take place at the Criminal Courts of Justice.
The new court facility at Croke Park will allow for three courts to sit, and it's expected to provide up to 200 court sitting days, from January to March 2021.
