People around the country are being encouraged to become tourists in their own towns and cities on Culture Night this Friday.
Over 3 thousand free events are taking place in museums, galleries, theatres, churches and even government buildings in over 40 towns and cities around Ireland this Friday.
The 11th annual event will allow people experience arts and culture in their community.
Emmy nominated Bodhrán percussionist Donal Ó Snodaigh and Louise McNamara from Irish duo Heathers are ambassadors for this year’s event.
