A woman has died after being knocked off her bike in Dublin city centre.

The crash happened at Seville Place shortly before 11am this morning (Tuesday) when the cyclist was hit by a truck.

She was in her early 30s and died at the scene.

The body remains at the scene and the driver of the truck has been brought to hospital as a precaution.

Diversions are in place and Gardaí are appeal for witnesses to contact them.
