Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a crash that claimed the life of a cyclist yesterday.
The 50-year-old man was struck by a car on the southbound lane of the M1 at around 5 o'clock on Sunday evening.
The collision took place between the Donabate and Swords junctions.
The victim was taken by Ambulance to Beaumont Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The occupants of the car were uninjured.
